300 2t or 400 4t?

After coming to the conclusion the little 250 2t would not be the best for my ability/ experience on singles/hills.

Experienced riders say a 300 2t would be more suited as the torque is in the lower to mid rev range.

There’s an 02 kato 400 nearby at an ok price. It’s a noticeable amount lighter than the old 640 ( around 25kg ) but a bit heavier than the 300 2t.

I’m sure both will have enough torque to haul my more than ample frame around...

Any advice from those that have ridden both would be greatly appreciated.

The 400 has electric start, which for my hill ability is a big advantage.

I only just realised that to some onlookers, I must resemble a ryno that has grabbed a warthog by the tusks, spurring it through the bush, laughing 'faster piggy, Faster!'

:silly: :woohoo: :p
