i never changed the valves in my 530 it done a bit more than 200hrs they last good hay

to old to fat to slow but still out there and talking shit

Piston kit, Gasket Kit, Oil, Filter and Cylinder Hone
Cylinder Head Service and Mild Porting c/w new valve stem oil seals using original valves and springs
Around $600

This does not include labour of course.

I finally got to ride the rebuilt 450 today. :woohoo: I had to do some final valve clearance adjustments as the head was ported and the seats were machined so I needed a couple of shims a few thou smaller to regain my valve clearance.
Well it has made all the difference, I only put 20km on it but the 450 is now really responsive and sharp in its power delivery and this is with the adventure gearing 14/45! I cant wait to get back on the trails with the normal lower gearing for the singles.
I have also ordered the upgraded oil pump gears and oil pump drive shaft, which is for peace of mind reliability.

Good stuff Lefty. $600 is pretty good for a 4 banger rebuild i think.
